Opportunities for making a significant difference in the health of our community are always available through the volunteer services programs at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital. Our volunteer program consists of the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for adult volunteers, Bear Lake Memorial Volunteer Services program to include service opportunities within the hospital campus and the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital Youth Volunteer program (ages 14-18).
Our Mission
The mission of our Auxiliary is to support and promote Bear Lake Memorial Hospital and its patients and patrons throughout the Bear Lake Valley.
Our focus is to endorse the Hospital’s Mission and goals by:
- Providing departmental support through volunteer staffing
- Conducting fundraising activities
- Promoting a positive image in the valley
- Advocating health and wellness through education and information
To complete its mission, the BLMH Auxiliary does the following:

- Scholarships
- Senior Projects
- $200,000 donation towards hospital remodel
- $30,000 donation towards the bus
- $250,000 donation towards an MRI
- Pledged for surgical robot
- Help with clerical tasks
- School health fair
- Monthly luncheons
- Quilt, embroider, crochet
- Women’s shelter
- Road to Recovery
- Prom Dinner
