Bear Lake Memorial Hospital is seeking a hard-working, dependable individual to help clean various departments throughout the hospital.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Overall general cleaning of various rooms/departments meeting strict infection control guidelines
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, washing windows, washing walls, etc
- Waxing and stripping floors as needed
- Good communication with the Housekeeping Supervisor in regards to scheduling and additional duties as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience with housekeeping duties preferred.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to get along well with others.
- Strict adherence to confidentiality requirements.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
- Strict adherence in following required infection control guidelines in regards to cleaning and housekeeping duties.
- Must have a high level of integrity.
- Must be able to work various hours/shifts, days, weekends, etc.
- Must be willing and able to take turns with on-call schedules.
- Must be able to do a considerable amount of bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching, lifting, and walking.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must have the ability to contribute to the culture and/or vision of the most caring hospital.
